Kunstfest 2022
The third weekend in September is the time for New Harmony’s largest and most anticipated event of the year—2022 Kunstfest! This celebration of German heritage and art is one of the biggest of its kind in Indiana. This year, Kunstfest will take place Saturday, September 17, 2022 and Sunday, September 18, 2022.

What is Kunstfest?

“Kunst” means “art” in German, and you can expect to see a lot of it. Artists from across the region will sell and showcase their creations. With so many unique pieces, you’re sure to find something you’ll love!  Add “fest” – short for festival.  Kunstfest is a fun, German festival with art, entertainment, food, and learning opportunities, too!

The Red Geranium Restaurant will serve a special German food & drink menu with the following items:

Naughty German Drink & Beers will be available. 

Stop in over the weekend and enjoy a cold beer and a German meal prepared especially for you! Patio Jams will be happening this weekend on the Red Geranium Restaurant Patio. Friday, September 16th, Blue Harmony will be performing live, and on Saturday, September 17th we have Headliner ready to jam just for you! Patio Jams starts at 6PM and ends at 9PM. Come out and enjoy the biggest weekend of the year in New Harmony, Indiana!
